The Faculty of Economics, University of Niš, will host a joint event dedicated to the co-creation of new study programmes and the CROSS-REIS Info Day 2025 on 3 December 2025, bringing together representatives of academia, the business sector, public institutions, and the CROSS-REIS project team.
As part of the upcoming accreditation cycle, the Faculty is launching a collaborative process to design modern, practice-oriented undergraduate and master programmes aligned with the needs of the labour market and the requirements of the green and digital transition. In this context, the CROSS-REIS Info Day will provide insights into how the project’s thematic scope—regenerative economy, circular economy, biodiversity, waste management, green skills, and cross-sector collaboration—can support the modernization of higher education.

The event also includes short presentations from the business sector on the competencies expected from future economists, followed by an open discussion on new programmes, skills needs, and collaborative teaching models. Stakeholders will jointly explore how study programmes can better reflect emerging economic and environmental challenges, and how the Faculty and its partners can co-create long-term value for the region.
