From May 8–10, 2025, members of the CROSS-REIS project team — Prof. Jelena Stanković (Project Coordinator), Ivana Marjanović, and Sandra Milanović Zbiljić — participated in the 2025 International Conference on Management, Tourism and Technologies (ICMTT’25), held at TEC - Tecnológico de Costa Rica, Campus San Carlos.

ICMTT’25 brought together international scholars and professionals to discuss the latest trends and innovations in the fields of management, tourism, and technologies. With a special focus on sustainability and regenerative practices, the conference provided a valuable opportunity to share CROSS-REIS research and engage with a global academic community.

The team presented their research paper titled: “The Impact of Employee Training on Eco-Friendly Behavior in Hotels: The Mediating Role of Green Skills”, which explores how training programs influence environmentally responsible practices in the hospitality sector by building essential green competencies among staff. The presentation took place alongside other international contributions focusing on sustainability, tourism, education, and organizational development.

By contributing to this international forum, the CROSS-REIS team reinforced the project’s mission to foster sustainable transitions in tourism and hospitality through interdisciplinary research, capacity-building, and policy-relevant insights.
