The Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro will host the CROSS-REIS Info Day 2026, marking the project’s continued commitment to sustainability, citizen engagement, and environmental responsibility. The event is strategically scheduled ahead of Sustainability Week and Earth Day, emphasizing the importance of collective action for environmental protection.
This year’s Info Day will highlight the results of recent student-led activities within the CROSS-REIS Living Lab, particularly the “Green Challenge”, where students actively contributed to waste collection and circular practices. The event will also include an award ceremony, recognizing the most active participants and encouraging continued engagement in sustainability initiatives.
The programme will open with a presentation of the CROSS-REIS project objectives and upcoming activities, delivered by Prof. Ana Lalević Filipović, Project Coordinator at the University of Montenegro. A guest lecture on green bonds and sustainable finance will further connect environmental action with financial innovation.
A central part of the event will be a panel discussion on “Green Transition and ESG Governance: Aligning Global Policies with Corporate Responsibility.” The panel will bring together representatives from the financial sector and professional organizations, including experts from CKB Bank, Ernst & Young Montenegro, Uniqa Insurance, and the Institute of Certified Accountants, fostering dialogue between academia, business, and policy.
The Info Day will conclude with an interactive workshop on digitalization and sustainable financial habits, designed to engage students in understanding the role of digital tools and financial literacy in supporting a sustainable future.
By combining student recognition, expert dialogue, and practical learning, the CROSS-REIS Info Day 2026 aims to strengthen awareness, build capacities, and inspire continued participation in shaping regenerative and sustainable communities.
