22 November 2024 An International Business Forum in Niš, Serbia

Location: Science-Technology Park Niš
Aleksandra Medvedeva 2a, 18000 Niš, Serbia

Date and time: Friday, November 22, 2024 11:00 AM

This forum, organized as part of the CROSS-REIS project activities, is a pivotal event focusing on the intersection of sustainability, circular economy, and regenerative business practices across Southeast Europe and beyond. The event will bring together key stakeholders from five countries—Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Albania—along with thought leaders and experts from research-intensive partners from Italy, Spain, and Norway.

Over the course of the forum, participants will engage in a series of panels aimed at addressing the policy, business, and societal dimensions of sustainability and how different sectors can collaborate to shape a regenerative economy. Attendees will include policymakers at the European, national, and local levels, business leaders from various industries, academic researchers, and representatives of the civil society.

The forum will serve as a platform for cross-border exchange of knowledge, innovative solutions, and practical experiences. It aims to foster dialogue on how policy frameworks, business innovations, and civil sector initiatives can create synergies to accelerate the shift toward sustainable economic practices. Through expert-led discussions, participants will explore how green practices can be profitable, how policies can be crafted to support circularity, and how the civil sector can bridge the gap between academia, business, and policymakers.

The event will feature three dynamic panel sessions focusing on key aspects of sustainable transformation, accompanied by renowned academic speakers who will contribute with insights drawn from cutting-edge research and collaborative projects.
