The Bled Strategic Forum 2025 once again positions itself as a leading platform for international dialogue, bringing together policymakers, experts, business leaders, and academics to reflect on the urgent challenges of a world in permacrisis.

Under the theme “A Runaway World”, this year’s Forum addressed the fragmentation of the international order, rising geopolitical tensions, climate change, economic uncertainty, and growing inequalities. Discussions focused on how Europe can redefine its role in strengthening global governance, fostering strategic sovereignty, and building trust in an increasingly polarised global environment.

Members of the CROSS-REIS consortium will take part in the Forum, contributing perspectives from the project’s research on regenerative economies and innovation ecosystems. By engaging in high-level discussions on resilience, sustainability, and cooperation, CROSS-REIS aims to showcase how regenerative approaches can help address systemic crises and support the transition towards a more inclusive, stable, and future-oriented Europe.
