On 2 April 2026, the CROSS-REIS project, in cooperation with the Centre for Business Excellence of the School of Economics and Business (CPOEF), organised an online E-talk entitled “Circular Economy as a Response to Supply Chain Uncertainty”.

The event brought together key speakers with complementary expertise: Prof. Maja Zalaznik, who presented and contributed to the REGENU project, focused on education as a key driver of the transition towards a regenerative economy; Ladeja Godina Košir, founder of Circular Change, internationally recognised circular economy expert and former coordinator/main author of Slovenia’s national Roadmap towards the Circular Economy; and Prof. Žiga Turk, representing the CROSS-REIS perspective on regenerative economy research.

The discussion explored how circular and regenerative economy approaches can strengthen the resilience of supply chains, reduce dependence on unstable resource flows and contribute to more sustainable business models. Particular attention was given to the relationship between circular and regenerative economy, as well as their role in addressing contemporary environmental, economic and geopolitical challenges.
